Technology has been growing exponentially, some things that were thought to be found only in the imagination are increasingly becoming reality. Examples from fiction to reality have been many from cartoons such as The Simpsons, Dragon Ball, The Supersonic, among others.
Listed below are some of the inventions that were invented by animations.
This invention was seen during the month of April 1989 in the cartoon Dragon Ball Z, used by Vegeta, which allowed to measure the energy of opponents.
This invention was brought to reality by Google, through Google Glass. This was an augmented reality type display device that showed information to smartphone users without using their hands. It was compatible with the Android operating system. It featured a touchpad, camera, voice recognition, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
The difference between the cartoon and reality was 23 years.
A cartoon that revolutionized technology was The Supersonics, who were a family from the future, showing a broad concept in technology. One of the inventions shown there were the curved screens, this was shown in the 60s.
This invention was brought to light by the Korean company Samsung in 2013, during the Customer Electronic Show, having a Full HD quality and a size of 50″ and 60″.
The difference in time between fiction and reality was 51 years.
Smartwatches were shown in different cartoons such as The Jetsons in the 1960s, The Simpsons in 1995 and Inspector Gadget in 1985, allowing calls to be made with the smartwatch and users to be seen through the smartwatch screen.

In the year 2017 in Dubai, prototypes of automatic drones for transporting people were shown. These drones were developed by the Chinese company Ehang.

Another invention that was shown in cartoons was the autocorrect. Which was shown on screen in 1993 in the Simpsons, during the broadcast of the episode Beat Up Martin, or Beat up Martin, in which a corrector was shown changing “Beat up Martin” to “Eat up Martha”.

That episode prompted Apple in 2010 to implement such an autocorrect in its iPhone model.

Finally, The Jetsons showed a home assistance robot called Robotina during the 1960s that vacuumed, cleaned, cooked and performed household chores.
In 1996, the first cleaning robot was created, the Electrolux Trilobite. The concept and design of the first autonomous vacuum cleaner was the brainchild of inventor James Dizon.
It used ultrasonic sensors for navigation and was recharged using a charging base. One of its disadvantages was that it clogged easily and its durability was low.
